Reordering Stops On the Trip Itinerary in the Trip Request Form Kathryn Johnson Updated December 03, 2024 20:40 It is important to accurately build out your trip itinerary on the trip request form. This itinerary affects the miles to your destination, your return trip mileage, your outbound and return directions, and the trip estimator, which may affect trip approval.Navigate to the destination section of our trip request form.You must select an initial destination before building or editing the Trip Itinerary. You can search your district's common destinations by the business name or address. The search tool will show destinations that most closely match your search.The Address tool uses Google Maps to search for matching addresses.If there are no matches for your search, your district may allow you to create new destinations. If your district does allow the creation of new destinations, you will have the option Having trouble finding an address? Click here to create a new destination. Using this option may affect the directions for the trip itinerary and prevent trip approval. If allowed to use this option, please make sure that the address is typed correctly to ensure trip approval.Once the initial destination stop is selected, the trip itinerary automatically generates your selected location and destination stop.Once a destination stop is added, there are several options for adding other stops to the trip:Add Location Stop adds an additional instance of the School Location selected d in the General section of the Trip Request FormAdd Destination Stop adds an additional instance of the initial destination selected.Add Trips Stop allows you to search for another stop from the list of common destinations using the business name or address, depending on your district's settings.To add an additional destination, click Add Trip StopsThis opens the business/address search modal. The search function is the same as when adding an initial destination.You can search your district's common destinations by the business name or address. Click Save to add the trip stop.The system will warn you to check the order of your Trip stops.The new trip stop is added to the end of the trip itinerary.To reorder the trip stops, click and hold on the two lines to the left of the stop. Then, drag the stop to the correct position in the trip itinerary.Once the trip itinerary is in the correct order, click Next and continue filling out the trip request form. Was this article helpful?
